Porkaméricas 2018

The 19th Porkaméricas International Congress was held the last week, during three consecutive days, plus a Pre-congress day.  It took place in Cali, which is one of the main areas of pork production in Colombia. 

The event reunited more than 1,500 attendants and had a commercial area with more than 40 stands, being ours present at PorkColombia’s stand. The programme included conferences of interest for the swine sector with international speakers. Additinally, the attendants could know and experience some of the traditions and costums of the Valley of the Pacific.

We were present, for the entirely congress, at PorkColombia’s stand holding displays of our flagship product, a fast and accurate solution for the estimation of boar seminal doses, the Seminal Quality System or SQS. 

Besides being able to see the SQS in action, the visitors received advice, by our expert, on issues related to swine production and artificial insemination. 

One more year, the congress’ organizers did an impeccable job that not only allowed us to meet professionals from the sector but also brought us closer to their culture and beautiful traditions.

It was, without doubt, an enriching experience at multiple levels. We practically cannot wait for the next Porkaméricas. Thank you very much for everything. See you soon, Cali!
